Success overseas for Ducatoon Park Graduates

Estrato

Estrato repaid some of his purchase price of $95.000 when he decisively won the listed Star Way Stakes at Te Rapa on 11.12.10.
He is by the Widden based Stratum from the Ducatoon Park owned mare Lung Tah.
He won again at Te Rapa on 15.9.12.

Sino Brilhante

Ducatoon Park prepared Sino Brilhante (Good Journey-Violet Haze) for the 2011 Adelaide Magic Millions Sale for Mary Birnie and Greg Sanders.  He was purchased by John Moore in Sydney for $95,000.  Unfortuneately he had an accident and lost the sight of one eye.  He was sent to Macau (where one eyed horses are allowed to race) and won his first race by a widening 4 lengths.  He has since won again, plus 3 placings.
Congratulations to Mary and Greg and I am sure he will win many more as he was an outstanding colt.

Tsarina Wonder

When Tsarina Wonder won the Clangalang Hcp. at Morphettville on July 28th 2012, it was her third win from her past 4 starts.
She had previously won at Gawler over 2100m and at Murray Bridge over 1600m.
Tsarina Wonder was bred at Ducatoon Park and sold at the Adelaide Magic Millions Sales for $60,000.  Trainers Leon Macdonald and Andrew Gluyas have a bright future mapped out for her with the Adelaide Cup in mind next year.
She is by Churchill Downs from the Ducatoon Park bred mare Queen Tatiana.
